Unio Astronomica Internationalis[1] (Anglice: International Astronomical Union), sigla IAU, est conlegium astronomorum peritorum, qui pervestigando sive astronomiae docendae student.[2] Sedes primaria est Lutetiae Francorum. Auctoritas ubique approbata est ad corpora caelestia (stellas, planetas, asteroides, etc.) denominanda. Principale conlegii propositum est auxilio per orbem terrarum promovere et conservare scientiam astronomicam.
