Badass Ravi Kumar is a 2025 Indian Hindi-language musical action comedy film[4] directed by Keith Gomes and produced by Himesh Reshammiya Melodies. It is a spin off film of the 2014 film The Xpose, with Himesh Reshammiya reprising his role as Ravi Kumar.[5] The film also stars Prabhu Deva, Kirti Kulhari, Simona J, Saurabh Sachdeva, Sanjay Mishra, and Johnny Lever.[6][7]

The film was announced in November 2022 and went on production started in September 2023 and wrapped up in February 2024, with filming held in India and Oman. The soundtrack is composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with choreography by Ganesh Acharya and editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat.[8][9] It was released on 7 February 2025.

Himesh Reshammiya composed the music and background score for the film.[12] The soundtrack was composed by Himesh Reshammiya, with lyrics written by Mayur Puri, Sameer Anjaan and Himesh Reshammiya. The soundtrack released on 6 January 2025.[13][14]

Theatrical

Badass Ravi Kumar was theatrically released on 7 February 2025.[15]

Pre-release business

The film has already recovered its production costs (₹20 crore) through music rights (₹16 crore) and subsidies (₹4 crore). Reshammiya waived his fee for a profit-sharing deal.[16][17]

Reception

On opening day, thanks to a strong advance booking despite competition from Loveyapa, the film collected 5 crore on its opening day and is expected to become a hit in a few days.
