James Skivring Smith (26. helmikuuta 1825 – 1892) oli liberialainen poliitikko, joka oli Liberian 6. presidentti vuosina 1871–1872.[1][2] Ennen tätä hän oli ollut Liberian 8. varapresidenttinä Edward James Royen hallituksessa.[2] Smith kuului True Whig Party -puolueeseen.
