Allobarbital
O allobarbital é unha droga derivada dos barbitúricos creada en 1910 por Ernst Preiswerk e Ernst Grether traballando para a empresa CIBA. Foi usada primeiramente como anticonvulsionante aínda que foi substituída por novas drogas máis seguras no seu emprego.
Outros usos do allobarbital son como analxésico ou no tratamento do insomnio ou da ansiedade .
