Filoviridae
Keluarga Filoviridae anggota ordo Mononegavirales , adalah rumah taksonomi dari beberapa virus terkait (filovirus atau filovirids) yang membentuk partikel virus infeksi berfilamen (virion) dan mengkodekan genom mereka dalam bentuk RNA indra-perasaan negatif tunggal-untai.[ 1]
Dua anggota keluarga yang umumnya dikenal adalah virus Ebola dan virus Marburg . Kedua virus, dan beberapa kerabat mereka yang kurang dikenal, menyebabkan penyakit parah pada manusia dan primata bukan manusia dalam bentuk virus demam berdarah.
