Aegyptopithecus er ei utdøydd primatslekt. Ho levde i Nord-Afrika i oligocen og var truleg ein av føreløparane for overfamilien Hominoidea, som omfattar både menneskeaper (familien Pongidae) og menneske (familien Hominidae). Eit nesten fullstendig kranium vart funne i 1965 i al-Faiyum i Egypt.
