Ballater (Scots Gaelic: Bealadair) is a burgh in Aiberdeenshire, Scotland on the River Dee, immediately east o the Cairngorm Muntains. Situatit at a hicht o 213 m (700 ft) in elevation, Ballater is a centre for hikers.
