The Alexander Ultra was a single decker body of a bus. It had a low floor. It was made from 1995 to 1998 by Walter Alexander Coachbuilders.
The Ultra body was built on the Volvo B10L chassis.[2][3][4]
Operators

In July 1995, Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company ordered sixty Ultras, Fifty of these went to Citybus and the remaining 10 went to Ulsterbus for services in Derry. Two demonstrators were also bought.[5]
In 1997, Travel West Midlands ordered fourteen for services in Walsall and Wolverhampton. These were compressed natural gas buses.[6][7]
First Northampton ordered nine Ultras, six of these were compressed natural gas buses,[6][8]
Timeline of Wigan, ordered 6 Ultras,[9] and Dublin Bus ordered five diesel Ultras and one CNG Ultra, the CNG Ultra was scrapped by the operator.[6]
In 1998, the Ultra was replaced by the Alexander ALX300 body.
