Daily Planet

The Daily Planet is a fictional newspaper in the universe of DC Comics. Superman's alter-ego Clark Kent works here with Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen and Perry White.

The Daily Planet office building has a large globe on its roof. Jerry Siegel said that the design of the building was based on the Old Toronto Star Building. Future appearances of the building were soon inspired by the Chicago Board of Trade Building and the Empire State Building.

The newspaper has been adapted to differents forms of media, including movies, television series, and video games as well.
