Jamin Ben "Jamie" Raskin (born December 13, 1962) is the U.S. Representative for Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017. He is a Democrat. He was a member of the Maryland State Senate from 2007 to 2016.

Raskin supports banning discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. In 2019, he voted in favor of the Equality Act and urged Congress members to do the same.[2][3]

In December 2022, Raskin revealed that he had been diagnosed with lymphoma.[4][5]
