Neftekamsk (Russian : Нефтекамск ; Bashkir : Нефтекама , romanized: Neftekama ) is a city in Bashkortostan , Russia . It is on the Kama River , 220 kilometers (140 mi) from the republic's capital Ufa . It is the largest industrial and cultural center of Bashkortostan. In 2010, 121,733 people lived there.
