Riaz is a municipality of the district of Gruyère in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. As of 31 December 2018[update], the municipality has 2,780 people in an area of 7.78 square kilometers (3.00 sq mi). The elevation is 726 metres (2,382 feet).
