"Running Free" is a 1980 debut single by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was taken from their debut self-titled album. It was released on 8 February 1980. It was re-released as a live single in 1985. It went to number 34 in the United Kingdom and number 35 in New Zealand. The live version went to number 12 in Ireland and number 19 in the United Kingdom.
