Salem Mohammed Shafi Al-Dawsari (Arabic: سالم محمد شافي الدوسري; Born 19 August 1991) is a Saudi Arabian Professional Winger football player who plays as a Al Hilal in the Saudi Professional League and the Saudi Arabia national football team.[2]

Club Career

Al-Dawsari was loaned to Villarreal for 1 year, but he only played 1 match as a substitute against Real Madrid. [3] [4] He played most of his career at Al Hilal

In 7 February 2023, Al Dawsari scored two penalties against Flamengo in the semi-final of the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup. Al Hilal won 3-2, becoming the first Saudi Arabian club to play in the Club World Cup final.[5]

International Career

Al-Dawsari scored his first international goal while away against Australia in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifiers[6]

In May 2018, he was confirmed in the Saudi Arabia initial Squad for the Russian 2018 FIFA World Cup[7]

On 23 June 2018, he scored a late penalty against Egypt and won the last group stage matches in the Russian 2018 FIFA World Cup[8]

On 23 November 2022, Al-Dawsari scored his second goal against argentina and the result was a 2-1 beat argentina in the 2022 FIFA World Cup matches[9]

On 30 November 2022, he scored his goal against mexico and resulted in a 2-1 defeat by mexico in the 2022 FIFA World Cup matches.[10]
