Pyxicephalidae[1] är en familj av groddjur som ingår i ordningen stjärtlösa groddjur (Anura).[1] Enligt Catalogue of Life omfattar familjen Pyxicephalidae 66 arter[1].
Familjens medlemmar förekommer i Afrika söder om Sahara.[2]
