சாந்திதேவர், திபெத்திய பௌத்த சித்தரிப்பு

சாந்திதேவர் (Shantideva) (சமசுகிருதம்: Śāntideva) எட்டாம் நூற்றாண்டின் இந்தியப் பௌத்த அறிஞர் ஆவார். சாந்திதேவர், சௌராட்டிரா நாட்டின் மன்னர் கல்யாணவர்மனுக்கு கிபி எட்டாம் நூற்றாண்டில் பிறந்தவர்.[1]

பௌத்த பிக்குவாக மாறிய சாந்திதேவர், நாளாந்தா பல்கலைக்கழகத்தில் பௌத்த சமய சாத்திரங்களை கற்றவர். நாகார்ஜுனரின் மகாயானத்தின் ஒரு பிரிவான மத்தியமிகம் தத்துவத்தை தென்கிழக்கு ஆசியா, திபெத் மற்றும் சீனாவில் பரப்பியவர். சாந்திதேவர், போதிசத்துவ நிலையை அடைவது குறித்தான நூல் எழுதியுள்ளார்.[2]
