The Optare Tempo is a single-decker body of a bus. It has a low-floor. It has been been made from 2005 to 2017 by Optare
In 2017, The Optare Tempo was replaced by the Optare MetroCity.
Tempo
The first generation Optare Tempo was made from October 2004 to 2013
It was made in different lengths, the lengths are: 10.6 metres,[1] 11.3 metres,[1] 12.0 metres[1] and 12.6 metres.[1]
Operators
In 2005, Trentbarton ordered six Tempos.[2]
In 2007, a hybrid model was made for London operators.[3][4][5]
Arriva UK Bus, First Cymru, RATP Group, Stagecoach Group, Transdev, Veolia Transport and Wellglade Group ordered some Tempos.
Tempo SR

The second generation Optare Tempo was made from October 2011[6] to 2017
It was made in different lengths, the lengths are: 10.7 metres,[7] 11.5 metres[7] and 12.2 metres.[7]
Operators
In 2012, Trentbarton ordered thirteen Tempo SRs.[8]
In 2017, Manchester Airport ordered four Tempo SRs for use on airport car park shuttle bus services.
Transport for London operators East London, London United and Metroline[9] ordered Tempo SRs.
In Australia, Carbridge and Park Ridge Transit ordered Tempo SRs.[10][11][12]
