Cradle of Filth é unha banda inglesa de metal extremo formada en Suffolk no ano 1991. O seu estilo musical evolucionou dende o black metal cara a unha amálgama de metal gótico, black metal sinfónico e outros subxéneros de metal extremos máis "producidos" e limpos. As súas letras e a súa imaxe están fortemente influenciadas pola literatura gótica, a poesí, a mitoloxía e as películas de terror.
